It’s official – I’m now kind of, sort of interested in a 3D product. Sigh…The video above might not show a preview of the 3D effect from Sony‘s new VPL-VW90ES projector but just the notion that it can now successfully be displayed on my home theatre screen has got me jazzed. The $9999 price tag will keep me at arms length for the time being but if I ever end up investing in a 3D display of any sort, it will be a projector. I’m really looking forward to watching Iron Man 2 again. It’s a flawed film – rushed into production and filled with character missteps (Tony Stark’s drunken battle with his best friend, being the most offensive example I can think of off the top of my head) – but still so much fun to watch. This trailer for the Blu-ray release of the film is sadly quite low-res, making it difficult to get too jazzed about the all the special-feature sneak-peeks thrown in. I have a feeling the YouTube uploader snatched it off of the Amazon page for the disc. But check it out anyway. It’s got me excited for September 28th! How about you? Did you dig the sequel?
