We don’t have full details on this yet, but man, getting The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari from Masters of Cinema is tantamount to having this classic German expressionist horror film on a Criterion Blu-ray disc. I can’t wait to see the full list of special features, when it’s finally revealed. Holy crap! Are we actually FINALLY going to see the entire Sopranos series on Blu-ray?! I feel like we’ve been waiting the entire life of the format for this to happen, with the final two seasons having been released ages ago and HBO testing the waters with a Season One release back in 2009. What gives? Why has it taken so long? And does this mean we might actually see other critically acclaimed HBO series on Blu soon? The Wire is in desperate need of some good transfers. The DVDs are atrocious. Fingers crossed!
